Be it a glamorous Hollywood movie star or the ordinary girl hoping to turn heads at her next ball, Vivian Luk’s philosophy to dressing women remains the same.

Vivian's art education started young with her father—an interior designer and fine artist—as her mentor. At 13, Vivian began her classical training in art, dance, music and drama at a performance arts school. Her experience instilled in her a love of artistic forms, movement and theatricality that can be traced in her designs today.

Vivian’s art education began young, guided by her father - an interior designer and fine artist. At 13, she trained in art, dance, music, and drama at a performance arts school in Toronto, Canada.
After graduating from Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, she began her career with Vera Wang, specializing in Bridal and Celebrity Made-to-Order, creating iconic red-carpet gowns.
In 2008, Vivian returned to Hong Kong to establish her label. Known for captivating presentations, she hosted private sessions of 100–130 guests to create memorable experiences.
Her collections have carried both artistry and storytelling. In 2010, Pan debuted at Cipriani Hong Kong, followed by Coral Gardens in 2013 at the Shangri-La rooftop. In 2016, after her pregnancy and cancer experience, she staged a charity fashion show, where couture little girl dresses walked alongside women’s couture. The signature Kaylen dress, named after her daughter, raised HKD 300,000 for a children’s cancer fund.
With growing demand for children’s couture, she launched Little Miss Luk in 2019, evolving into mother–daughter matching outfits. In 2024, she showcased her first women’s Ready-To-Wear pieces at a trunk show at St. Regis Hotel. During the pandemic, she paused bespoke bridal projects to explore creative crossovers - teaching fashion design courses with Arch Education for children and authoring Honeycomb & Her Superpower Friends, a storybook inspired by Little Miss Luk dresses, with characters embodying values like Creativity, Courage, and Kindness.
Vivian has continued to expand her community-focused experiences, collaborating with photographers such as Jada Poon, Kindred Studio, and Kim Lo to create styled shoots with mother–daughter outfits and themed sets. In 2025, she launched a maternity rental collection, extending her vision of fashion as both personal and shared experience.
Her next project focuses on women’s day-to-evening wear, unveiled at VIRTUOSE : The Artistry of Couture show. This new chapter circles back to what she loves most about couture - mix-and-match Ready-To-Wear separates that open a fresh direction in her special-occasion designs.
Her signature style has been adorned by HK celebrities Vivian Chow and Amanda S, as well as socialites Cathy lee, Jennifer Cheng, Guo Jing Jing, Arissa Cheo and Emily Lam.

Vivian Luk Atelier has crafted gowns for luminaries such as Guo Jing Jing, Jennifer Cheng, Cathy Lee, and Emily Lam. Building on this bespoke legacy, her Ready-to-Wear has commanded editorial presence across Asia. Prestige Hong Kong spotlighted her designs alongside Fan Bing Bing, Kimberley Anne Woltemas, and Heart Evangelista, while Hong Kong Tatler and Harper’s Bazaar featured her work with actress Gigi Leung. Her Ready-to-Wear pieces graced the Harper’s Bazaar Bridal cover with Taiwanese star Ruby Lin.
Her creations have appeared in TV dramas such as The Season, worn by Celina Jade and Karena Lam. On stage, singer Vivian Chow opened a show in a striking black-and-white ensemble; Ashley Lin accepted the Newcomer Female Golden Award at the 903 Music Awards in a floor length pear-sleeve shirt; Charlene Choi, Kay Tse, and Janice Vidal have also embraced her Ready-to-Wear for events and photoshoots, appreciating its balance of wearability and drama.
